Anthony Coates

Anthony Coates, Lance Corporal 3889, Durham Light Infantry, 1st/5th Battalion. Killed in action September 15, 1916. He was from Orlands, Aycliffe.

In the 1891 census he was four years old. His mother Hannah was now married to Michael McCormack, living in Monks End Aycliffe.
