Fred Robinson

Fred Robinson was the son of George and Sarah Robinson of North Row, Aycliffe. He was born about 1898.

Fred served in the 9th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. He was a prisoner of war in Germany, as was his brother Arthur. His brother Benjamin also served, regiment unknown, as his brother Walter was killed September 21, 1917.

Fred and his brother Arthur attended a Welcome Home Dinner Concert and Dance held at the Temperance Hall, Darlington on Wednesday, May 7th, 1919.
