Harry Hildreth Goldsbrough was born 1900 at Bowes, Yorkshire. His parents were William Goldsbrough, a porter, born Barningham, and Annie Isabella. In the 1901 census they were living in Heighington Street, next door to Henry Nelson and his family.

In the 1911 census William was still a porter for the N.E.R. He had been married 13 years and had 2 children, but only Harry was at home with them.

Harry Hildreth Goldsbrough died 1962.
