Herbert Farrow was born 1885 in Gloxhill, Lincolnshire. He was the son of Isaac and Mary Farrow and husband of Rosa.

Herbert was Private 21535 of the 11th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment. He was killed 11 July, 1918 and is commemorated at Longuenesse, (St. Omer) Souvenir Cemetery, Grave V.C.65.

Herbert is the great uncle of Ronald Kitchman of Newton Aycliffe.
