John Reeder, who now lives in Dallas in the USA has sent photgraphs of his family. Jack and Olive Reeder lived at 1, Monks End in Aycliffe. Olive was born in 1914. John was born in Chilton and had two brothers and a sister born in Monks End.

The family moved to Chilton about 1940. John remembers visiting Aycliffe and playing football at Aycliffe School and staying at Stan Wilson's. His father served in Dunkirk, Greece and North Africa in WW11.
