Patrick O'Neill was born about 1887 in Belfast. He joined the 7th Battalion, Royal Scot Fusiliers, Private 13673.

Patrick married Lizzie Flannigan about September, 1907 in Belfast. He had 3 children, Elizabeth, James Patrick, born October 3, 1911, and Margaret.

Patrick was based at Port Glasgow. He went to France July 10, 1915.

Patrick was killed in action September 26, 1915. According to a Remembrance card Patrick was killed at the Battle of Hill 70. He was 28 years old.

Patrick's wife was living at 14, Argylle Street, Port Glasgow.
