William Nelson, born 1892 at Heighington Station, son of Henry and Annie Nelson. They were living at Heighington Street, Aycliffe in the 1911 census. His brother Alick, born 1893, also served in WW1.

In the Absent Voters' List of October 1918 William's address is Heighington Station. He was Private 46325, 9 Sig. Corps.
